I have the Falken WildPeak A/T3W - 265/70R16 115T looking to replace them and noticed there is a 112T version of this tire for less money. I don't haul much more than 800lbs would the 112T be adequate for this weight? Will I be able to notice any difference performance wise between the two?

Check the yellow sticker in the driver's door jam that list the size, the minimum load rating should be printed on there with the size.
Chances are either load rating will be fine.

You do not install the Grade Tire, you will use, but the grade of Tire, for which, the truck is rated.
Doing otherwise is a recipe for disaster and most tire shops will not even consider it.

Check the door jamb label because Costco or many other tire shops will check it.

Costco has a strict policy, at least the one I asked to replace 1 damaged tire to match the other 3.

They refused to install the tire I had selected and forced me to go elsewhere.

I had new tires from a previous truck and they were good enough for me.

I ran no-name 113's on my truck for several yrs (installed by former owner). Regular cab long box. I hauled ...did regular light-duty truck work. It ran great with them for several years. I replaced with Cooper A/T's, load range 115T. I really can't feel a difference. The Coopers run out great. Didn't take much weight to balance out which says they were made pretty well.

If yer still shopping 'deals', These Coopers @ Walmart for $119 is what I bought last yr for a Land Rover. Same price ...or maybe they were $114. Walmart mounts them for free, $3/ea disposal, free shipping. Balance is extra but reasonable. I paid xtra for Road Force Balancing though. I ended up buying three sets of Cooper AT's last year (one a 10-ply rated set). They're running great. Don't regret it.

If you like Coopers, add up all the tire/mount&balance cost from Walmart. I don't think there's a better deal on tires when they have them on a serious sale. They have different Cooper models, ratings, etc. But it depends on the tire/truck/needs, etc.

Looks like a twin to mine. Why can't a reg cab longbed be had in a color besides white? I hunted and hunted and white was all I could find in the few reg cabs I came across.

I have not seen many Laramie regular cab long bed Rams

It may not matter, but they are built in Saltillo Mexico

That's interesting.
Hmmm... might explain why my tk came with those individually wrapped blocks of drywall powder in the doors. Lot of drywall is processed there. Takes a little more water to mix up though. People are always so happy when they leave my place!

Your truck probably came with C rated tires. The door sticker will tell you. You can put any size that will fit the wheels and housings with any rating C, D, or E that you want.

The comment, "Doing otherwise is a recipe for disaster and most tire shops will not even consider it." is pure garbage.

OK, tell that to Costco in Kanata, Ottawa. They had a big fit and informed me that their protocol was to follow the door jamb sticker, at a minimum. I thought they were foolish A holes but I can't tell them to break their own policy.

One thing I have learned about Costco is that most of the policies come from the head office in the US. Maybe, the tire policy is an exception and only in Canada but until proven, I doubt it.

Certain corporate tire operations, mainly big box stores, will not change tire specs for liability reasons. When it matters enough I have worked around that by taking loose wheels in and telling them it’s a trailer or a farm vehicle.

Tire specialist stores generally don’t care what you put on.

Yep! Costco has some strange policies. That's why I stopped buying Costco tires and only buy from my local dealer.

Correct, Costco's tire prices are better than others but their out-the-door price is not. Several local tire shops and Discount Tire beat Costco's out-the-door price.
Discount tire here in the PDX area of Oregon has yet to beat Costco tire prices with or without mount & balance, if they could they could get my business along with many other people in the metro area....

Interesting, here, Discount will match whatever legitimate quote you show them.
Edit:
I have a brother in Aloha and last week or so Discount beat Costco on Michelin Defenders. However, he went with Costco because they had a Costco brand that is a copy of the Defenders (probably made by Michelin) and about $30.00 a tire cheaper.

Edit 4/7/23, See my post #25, corrects my Costco brand comment

Costco: If there's a potential lawsuit to be had or threatened, I bet Costco's seen it

But like suggested above, a guy can take his own wheels in (off the vehicle) and get new meats put on (same or different size) and generally slip by that way. Plus you don't have to worry about them busting up your center caps, and/or goofing up your truck's lugnuts with 1,200# impact wrenches..

What does that have to do with what color a given truck is built? And though mine isn't a tradesman edition, but an slt. Even if it was a tradesman edition, was that the only color they came?
