Tonneau cover

I recently purchased a 2019 ram 1500 and I’m told the tonneau cover off my 2014 won’t fit. Can anyone tell me if there’s a difference in the box style or size that would cause the cover not to fit?

Which Ram did you get? Classic or new body style with 6 lug nuts on the rims?
If New body style, does it have Ramboxes on teh side of the bed? Does it have multi-function tailgate?

It’s the new body style. No ram box or multi tailgate.

bed curvature could be different
bed length could be different
top of the tailgate may have a different shape

best thing to do is to have a friend or two help you to set the cover onto the new body style Ram.
Should not take more than 2 beers length of time to do a full discovery

If you measure the outside of the bed both trucks are tapered but on the inside the 4th gen bed is tapered and the 5th gen bed is square.
