Empty as mines open it looks like crap if I store anything in there as my passengers have to stare at my junk. Its convenient for bringing home left overs as doggy bags fit nicely. Other than that its use less. My Ruger stays in tge center or my 4oclock

Mine has a door on it--I keep my I-pod plugged in so I can ditch the stupid announcers and listen to decent music when XM-Sirius plays the same songs over and over and over again.

I don't use it for anything but my wife puts random stuff in it from the gas station during road trips. I was really annoyed there was no door when I got it, and now I'm indifferent.

Can't put any sidearms in mine since I live in MD. =\

I keep two sets of cloth/leather gloves, some bungee cords, 550 cord, a small package of nitrile gloves, and my insurance/registration is in a pouch velcro'd to the top underside of the door. The only thing I keep in the lower glove box is the owner's manual in the leather pouch it came with, and the wheel lock. Everything else that sees frequent use is in the center console.
