Took in for rear end recall and told them about a couple of issue I thought I had. And they said the transfer case was covered in fluid and warranty company wanted them to pull it out and see if it was damaged. So far took them 6 hours to get it out and they said it would take them until tomorrow to know. But what worries me is he said warranty company might not pay for it . What u guys think? Am I ok

I think they are looking for physical damage, like hitting a rock and cracking it as opposed to wear and tear. If that is the case and the warrantee won't cover it you should call your insurance and see if your collision insurance will cover it.

They put it back together cause they didn't see anything wrong and then it won't go into 4wd. They did some updates to the ecm and then it won't shift into drive. All I hope is someone is paying for this other than me

This is driving me nuts. I test drove the truck and it's worst then when I dropped it off. Shakes bad under 40 in 4wd.

Sorry to hear about your troubles! Definitely find another dealership to take a look at this because this place sounds like they don't know anything about your truck.

Keep us updated on this dilemma.

Just got truck back from dealership. They replaced the left wheel bearing. Shake is better. They also did the tie rod ends under warranty. And alignment. But it still pulls to left and doesn't feel like when I bought.
