Transmission Shifting

My 2008 1500 Ram 5.7 Hemi 4x4 shifts in and out of overdrive when the cruise is on. When not in cruise it works the way it is suppose to. This is on flat highway it shifts in and out. This just started a few weeks ago. Is there a sensor that controls the transmission? Thanks John
