I've got a 2014 ram 1500 with about 152k miles on it. Last night it started making this noise that sounds like a baseball card in bike spokes. It than threw a cod P000B.

We cleared that code and it never came back. Did some road testing and figured out the noise only happens in drive and on deceleration at around 1800 rpms and it only seems to be happening at 30-40 mph. As soon as I give it gas the noise stops and then starts again on deceleration.

If I manually put the truck in 8th gear the noise is completely gone.

Timing chain guides are gone and allowing the chain to have too much movement. I think there are some videos on Youtube about it. I had it in my 2011 w/Hemi and 148k on the clock and my daughters boyfriend just had his Jeep w/Hemi fixed at 139k.

Did you resolve this? I have a 2014 5.7, started the same symptoms last week.
