Sorry for all of this jumbled up into 1 post, just figured it would be easier to copy & paste from another forum.

Well i have worked 7 days a week for 2 months & finally got off of it yesterday. 3 day weekends again...hell yes. Lol well me & the fiance are going to the track tonight & on the way to clean the truck i stopped at a scale.(this was from last night)

4320 w/ me in it, track trim w/ tail gate. I weigh 135 so that puts the truck at 4185 then drop the tailgate & thats around 4150. It had a 1/4 of a tank of gas. The tailgate is coming off but the passenger seat is going in b/c she wants to come w/ me so the weight will be the same tonight. She wants to come so maybe i can get her to get some good vids.I could easily get the truck to 4250 w/ me in it i think. Now i need to add more power so i will have the best of both worldsI weighed it a while back & it weighed 4620 w/ me in it in full street trim w/ a completely topped off tank of gas I think 4200 even would be really doable but i like my radio & interior & a/c way to much to toss it out. W/ the interior, a/c, radio & stock speakers, exhaust, play w/ the front bumper & play a lil more under the truck i definitely think 4150 would be no problem. 4000 w/ me in it would be pushing it but in a track only truck

On my 1st pass last night I spun my butt off & ran a 12.14 at 111. Second & last pass I ran a 12.15 at 111. I was hoping for 11's again but the truck needs a 3400 converter & hoosiers.

I decided to get a set of hoosiers from Bob last night. Lets see it try & spin now lol

Last year w/ 4.10's I was cutting consistant mid 1.6's on spray & mid 1.7's on motor w/ my 3000 tc. This year all I can muster is 1.69-1.79 so far even w/ everyones beloved 4.56's. My tc is over 4 years old, been in 2 blown trannies in 2 different trucks & has never been sent back to get cleaned. It just acts like it needs more stall these days. I know it is slipping pretty bad & thats why my times are suffering so far this year

I will be doing a 3400 tc. I guess I will just send mine in to edge to get redone into a 3400 b/c it will be a cold day in hell before I pay a grand for a circle d converter.

I guess i just expected to much from 4.56's from all the talk & hoopla people put them off to be but my results might be messed up due to my tc issue. So far though I liked the 4.10's so much better

I fixed 1 of my issues today. My old nitrous solinoid wasnt opening up all the way. It was opening a lil then stopping then opening a lil more so I stuck a brand new soliniod on it & it hits alot harder now so I'm going to try & go to the track wednesday & see where that gets me. The old 1 was sticking pretty bad. It was enough to where you could feel it & see it on the wideband. Ben noticed it didnt hit hard at all back in the summer w/ the 150 shot but I didnt pay any attention to it until last night. It was slowly getting worse.

It ran 11.91 @ 112 w/ the 150 shot last winter. This winter my goal is 11.9's on the 125 shot & 11.7's w/ the 150 shot

Its bad to me & I was very disappoi9nted in the truck last night due to the converter slipping issues & the nitrous solinoid & spinning but I ordered hoosiers last night & put a brand new solinoid on it today & now the nitrous hits alot harder. I will be going back to the track wednesday or saturday night or both to see what happens. I plan on going saturday night w/ the hoosiers. Bob always gets me my stuff fast & Shelby is already taking care of my order.

Like I said I was a lil disappointed but thats what happens when ya let a truck sit for a while & dont pay it any attention. I have only put 3,000 miles on it in the last year so it hasnt been getting much attention at all

how much do you think the slicks will cut? I would think at least 2 or 3 tenths.

Well I used to hook great on the dr's. I have a set of 295/45 mt's that are great for motor passes & w/ the 4.10's I could spray out the hole but w/ the 4.56's I cant do that anymore so I'm hoping for low 1.6 60's or better on the hoosiers b/c I will be spraying directly off the line if it will hook which it should & that will drop my times on the big end by a couple of tenths

Gary are you doing a progressive controller or just a straight hit the whole track?
