This past weekend I traded my 1500 Sport in on a new 3500 Laramie, crew cab, Cummins, 6speed auto, 4x4. This is my first HD truck and diesel. It's a beast!

The only pics I have so far are from the dealership website. I had the Line-X sprayed in today and ordered the Backflip F1 and Bak Box tonight. This thing should yank our 7000lb camper around without even flinching. :)

Thanks guys! I'm loving it so far. I was/am shocked at how much bigger it feels than either of my 1500s.

Talk about an upgrade! Very nice looking truck and it definitely shouldn't notice the 7000 lb trailer.

Nice I was expecting the dually when I saw 3500 I haven't seen many single wheel 3400's around here lately. I want one now maybe just a 2500 though.

I also upgraded, from my 1500 Silverado to my current bad a$$ Ram 2500. Like you said, the size difference is staggering!

Beautiful truck btw!

Beautiful truck. I'm thinking the same as you. But trading in my 13'. I only have 5300 miles on it. So it may be time :)

Noticed you didnt mention the ride quailty compared to your 1/2 ton. Thats a good thing. Or, is it just that you might still be in the excitement stage and you havent noticed that it shook your bones out of their sockets from all the bouncing around :) Im considering doing the same, but probably not a laramie trim Good luck with it!

Good question... It certainly does not ride as nicely as my 1500 did. If the road is smooth, the 3500 rides great! If the road is really rough, the truck let's you know that it is an HD truck. I expected it to ride poorly in comparison, and it does. With that being said, it does ride much better than I was expecting.

^ Is the 3500 coil spring rear as well? I'm pretty impressed with the ride quality of my 2500 compared to other 3/4 tons I've driven. The F250 I drive for work, for example, is definitely like a lumber wagon compared to my Ram
