Used 3500 Questions for newbie

Hi all,

Today I saw what looks to be a nice used 2017 3500 Cummins / Aisin with ~30k to be used for pulling a fifth wheel. Body is good no major rust that I can see. Will test drive tomorrow. One question I will ask is if had a plow on it. I am new to all this, and although I have done a lot of research I wanted to ask you experts out there with your vast knowledge if you had any pointers about what to look out for in this year and model?

It would still be under the initial 3-year warranty provided the title is clean and not salvage or a buy-back vehicle. I would make sure the engine is stock, that is not tuned or emissions deleted. I would also run the VIN on the RAM web site to see if there are any outstanding recalls and what recalls have been addressed.

Buying a used vehicle can be tricky, good luck.
