Looking for an alternative to putting the scoops in the lower air dam. I don't want to remove the plastic piece in the lower dam. I like the lower dam as I have a chrome bumper

I'm assuming you have fog lights too. You could put them there but I'm guessing you use them.

I had no fog lamps so that's where I put mine. Works great and had awesome results. My personal opinion, ditch the fog lights

The best place for the 3rd gen Vararam Scoops to be mounted is to a garage wall, or perhaps a tree in your yard. Or your trash can if you're feeling really ambitious.

Now that thats out of the way..lol. If you need any spare parts let me know. I have access to a "lightly used" unit thats currently being used to increase the HP and MPG of my Garage wall. It has provided better quality and increases mounted there than it did on my hemi ;)

Perhaps you can mount the scoops in front of the radiator, behind the grille, like some guys do with the factory foglights after they go tube bumper. I HIGHLY recommend taking the hoses off and dumping out all the road debris at a min of once a month. And poking a small hole in the low spots of the hose for water drainage. you would not believe what road trash this thing picks up.

I dig a sense of humor. On another note, thank you for telling me that. I had no idea and didn't think about the trash getting in those hoses. I'll come up with something to fix that. I appreciate you sharing that info with me. I do need some parts so I'm going to PM you.

Here's what this gangsta did to his lights. I see no reason you couldn't do the same with your vara-pooper scoopers.

Mine was more like

ME: Hey honey, the truck lost 4 mpg again, so i assume that ************* intake slipped off my throttle body again, and it's sucking in hot, dirty engine air from the china breather they give you to vent the crankcase

Wife: is that the same piece of garbage i told you not to buy. that you already had to glue and tape back together 5 times

ME: Yup...same one that holds a gallon of water and sludge in the intake hoses, and has completely rattled itself apart in 2 years.

Wife: Is water and sludge good for performance?

Me: No... No its not...

Wife:...
