Oh gotcha. With IFS I find you don't need more 2" extra clearance really. For everything you're gonna do with IFS that's good enough. Heck with mine at stock height and a good set of tires I've gone through some nasty $h!t to get places I'm goin, like back woods boat launches.

I stripped mine too. I went to orileys and bought the Helicoil rethread kit. Haven't had an issue since.

Mine was I believe a 3/8s and just use a steel drill bit a little bit smaller and screw the rethread down in the hole and twist the other way to break the tab off. the thread spring will not come out once it's in. And it'll thread like a new bolt.

Just take the stock bolt to orileys or autozone and test the bolt on the threads if it fits it's correct lol

Mine shows to be a 3/16" but I just can't get a cut on the old bolt.. broke off below flush so it has to be drilled...

Buy felpro from orileys. not dorman crap lol

This one comes with all new bolts and all the rest.. I do like felpro though most of the ones I see are just the intake to head gasket or just the plenum gasket.. can't find the front and back intake

Edit: for some reason now it shows up.. still want new bolts as I read they are tty (haven't double checked the write up by will tho )

I have some of the bolts I bought when I was going to do mine before I sold the truck. If I can find them, pay for shipping and they're yours. No use to me just sitting there lol
