has anyone used the Lucas power steering stop leak before?

I have it actually works. It still leaks but my silver 98 ram normally leaked out all of it in 2 weeks. Now it takes like 4 months lol

That's my most effective route. My white truck is getting a new box with the support brace. This silver truck is my/my father inlaws beater so im not putting money in it lol

I'll probably just put it offers till I tear the front end apart to swap my ball joint dust boots, and freshen everything g up, and swap the box out.

I was told by Mark that ATF4 can help with leaks as it has a seal softener in it. He also told me that Lucas has a bad habit of making it worse.

I agree! Lucas is a chemical that can harden seals. While ATF+4 is a detergent. Even though it has a bad smell ATF cleans like hell! We had a case spill in the warehouse and the concrete was very clean. Plus my drive way has a couple of clean spots were my dad's 00 leaks ATF.

pulled the drivers side door panel off, and finally fixed the insert that was loose and flopping. 1/4' wood screws and some washers, and that sucker aint goin nowhere for a long damned time.

do you know what seal is leaking? if it is the input shaft seal that is leaking it is not too hard of a job to replace and it only costs about $5. i have replaced 2 so far and it has be pretty simple. couple hour job. if you got a borgeson steering shaft it can be replaced in a few minutes but not everyone is that lucky

Drove my '01 2500 4x4 V10 to town to pick up a part for my wifes car...would have rode the bike but Police frown on a 2 year old (Grandaughter) on a motorcycle!!!Also cleaned the leaves/dirt/twigs from my wiper/windshield cowl on the '95 Mega Ram 'cause its been sitting a month+.
