One guy I know he has a 99 dodge 2500 short bed. His bed was beat to ****. So he put a 70s stepside bed on it and used a new jeep wrangler front bumper as his rear. Not my taste but it's pretty neat imo.

I'm not completely crazy about that bed but looks good and is unique for sure!

Noticed my 4wd wouldn't engage. I have a cable actuator by posilok or something.. so I took it apart and ended up finding the cable was melted to itself by the new headers a shop put in. Sooooo now I'll try to get a hold of the people that make these before winter comes. Lol

Got my 3inch coil spacer installed with my dads help Sunday Morning. Also got the 315/70/17s mounted! My dad also gave me one of his old 16 inch 315/70/16 so I could mount on my spare. Got a few pics, my buddy at discount tire installing the tires for me on the cheap:favorites13:

I have some slight rub on turns, but it is awesome!!! Need to lift the rear but my rear lift kit was only 2.5inch wide they sent the wrong kit and now say the don't make a 3inch wide kit even though I purchased one.

Yes this is on the truck I revived from the dead after mudding and epicly failing almost ruining my tranny.

Still on jack stands, been super busy. About to start control arm bushings and hopefully finish up my rear end today. Transfer case is done just need to find a way to get the fill plug out (PO stripped it) so I can change the fluid. Then to start finally regearing my front end, fix my exhaust somewhat, and get some tires and get it aligned

I just got done dealing with the same pain in the ass stripped fill plug. I ended up chiseling a groove in it and then used an air hammer set in new groove to spin it free. NAPA has nice replacement plugs part# 7041048

Posilok quoted $90 for a new wire and $12 for shipping... expensive bad routing..

Well mine is an Allen key plug otherwise I'd do exactly that. I'm thinking of trying to hammer a Torx into it. Just anything to keep from drilling into it to get metal in there

Mine took the ratchet with an extension but it stuck out 1/4 inch thankfully. Was stripped to ****
