Am I the only one that daily drives their trucks? Seems a lot of people barely drive them on here.

I don't daily mine because after a while it got old getting 12mpg driving back and forth to work. That's what I have the Honda for lol. I tallied up how much I spent per month in gas just to drive to work in the truck, and it about made me sick.

It gets used as a truck and I don't worry about the weather and all that, but if all I'm doing is going back and forth to work, nope I'll drive the car lol

Mine is my DD, but I only do about 15 miles a day, 4 days a week. Don't drive it much on the weekend.

DD 70 miles a day. Average 11.5 mpg. Don't plan on changing it. Enjoy the truck, that's why I have it.

I used to drive about 80 miles a day to work and back, over a bunch of mountains so my average was around 10 too.

With the gas prices at the time, it was costing me just under 600 dollars a month in gas, just to get to work. Lol. I bought my Honda for 1200 bucks to beat around in, and the same commute cost me barely over 100 dollars a month. I love my truck as much as the next guy, but I'm gonna keep that extra 500 a month. Lol

Not saying I agree or disagree with anyone I'm just giving my reason for why I don't daily it anymore :favorites13:

My wife has a jeep GC with the 3.6 but the 5psd.... It's not bad an gets pretty damn good gas mileage. But after driving the same jeep with a 8spd. ****. I told her get a hemi back when she bought it a few years ago but the "gas mileage" an her family chiming in got the best of her, she almost got a hemi 8spd at the time. At least now she knows to take the husbands advice on the drivetrain stuff. That 8spd is a game changer

Are the Night Runner's 4WD?

They made 2000 nightrunners, some were dakotas ,rc's and quad 1500's it was a dealer option So I honestly don't know, However there are 400 badged/plaqued srt's which were 2 wd. respectfully, I have no idea if they were part of the 2000 or not......the truck is rare.:happy107: Mine is a 1500 4x4.
