Yep and as soon as I get it home the camper is coming off, I'm dying to see what the bed looks like.

it will be fine. it is a dodge.

Darn right. I might try to lighten the load though, there's still stuff inside the camper.

i wouldn't worry about trying to lightening it up. won't make much of a difference. if you plan on keeping the camper and using it you may want to invest in a air bag kit. they are cheap and would be the best way to solve the only issue with that truck.

solder the 2 holes that were in the rad on my 81 today. just need to pressure test it tomorrow to make sure i got all the holes patched up.

installed a dash camera in my ramcharger. also while i was running some wires for the dash camera i decided to install some rear speakers. had i know it would be so easy i would have done it years ago. just had to pop the panels out of the pre-made holes, cut material, find speaker connector, do some wiring behind the stereo to fix some messed up factory design and all was good. the stereo sounds a lot better with 4 speakers instead of 2.

Finally got my new springs and shocks into my D150. I ended up gaining 2 1/2" in the front.

Washed it and then pulled it into the garage. Planning on doing all new brakes, tires, fuel pump, oil change and anything else I might find now that I can take a closer look.

^if the truck runs fine you probably don't want to touch the fuel pump. the garbage that passes as fuel pumps these days is pretty bad. the new fuel pump that i installed on my 81 didn't even last 3 years before i had to replace it.

Changed the oil and replaced the window crank handles today. Had a bit of a fight with it as well....

Idk, if is sits for a couple weeks then it need a little gas in the carb to start. I was thinking it was the fuel pump but was planning on checking all the lines too.

i don't know if that would be a fuel pump issue. i would be looking at the carb since the carb should hold more than enough fuel in the float bowl to get the truck started after a couple pumps of the gas. could look at the accelerator pump in the carb. might be bad or clogged after sitting for so long.

Mine does the same thing. If it sits for more than a couple days, there's nothing in the bowl.

OK, I guess I'll hold off on the fuel pump for now. Maybe once I get the brakes and tires done I'll take it out on the highway and see how it does. It's got a Rochester Quadrajet carb so it's new to me, never tinkered with one before.

If it's a QJet it'll probably need to be rebuilt. Hell, any carb that sits will need to be rebuilt.

the highway would be the best place to test the fuel pump. if the truck runs out of fuel while driving you know the fuel pump is bad. if it runs just fine then there is most likely something wrong with the carb.

been a busy couple days for my 93. spent Monday cleaning everything i could on the front end since i couldn't get the upper control arm bolts moving. spent Tuesday replacing the upper control arm bushings which was a nightmare and spent today adjusting camber/toe. think i got it set right. i think i might have a bit of negative camber but should be ok. will see with time. i also spent some more time cleaning up and threw some paint on things to make it look pretty. also found some stuff i should take a die grinder to in the future to possibly make the brakes work better.

also still got a huge mess to clean up
