My 07 5.7 has 204,589 miles on it. I have a extended warranty, but it will run out at 211,000, the trans was replaced at 111,000 miles. I have followed the factory maintenance schedule, at present it doesn't use any oil or leak any oil. Sooner or later it's going to wear out. I think it would be cheaper to swap in a newer engine and trans than buy a new truck. Please let me know what you guys think.
