Impressive list... How do you like that Kenwood radio? What radio did you have before?

had the factory base radio. It was alright but I am slightly hard of hearing (RR Engr? Hard of hearing? go figure) could not actually hear NPR or news. Could tell folks were talking but not what was being said. Guy I work with, used to do stereo installs and helped me out. didn't spend much money but got a great sounding system;, even find myself listening to music now.
WHich I have not done, in decades, due to poor sound quality of automobiles.

Kenwood I got is fine, thogh I do wish I had now gone with an interrated unit. One where you can buy the adapter to keep all functions of OEM. cannot think of the name yet, is a system that works with many different bradns of radios and car lines.

You say integrated unit, do you mean the factory 8.4 touch screen one?

So far: Tinted front windows, weathertech mats, pudco led bar light, led license plate and interior bulbs, tonneau cover, Corsa exhaust, mud flaps, Krown oil spray.

Planning next: Deezee tailgate assist, tint the tail lights and 3rd brake light lenses, HiD headlight bulbs, vinyl decals for the rear 1/4 panels, change up the rims and tires.

No. I would have zero interest in some other OEM radio. I wish I had purchased and iData-link Maestro radio.
Aftermarket units can also be integrated with the trucks canbus system/interface. they will retain most, ifnot all, functions.

Whats the story on the Krown Oil Spray? Easy to put on? Whats the benefit of using this?

Its for rust prevention. We have a local Krown dealer who does the procedure. It takes about 45 minutes. They drill some holes and get the spray into the crevices in between panels along with the under body etc...We use salt on the roads where I live in Ontario which takes it’s toll on the body.

When it’s installed I will be uploading a few video clips of the interior sound at city and highway speeds and a before/after of outside the cab for sure

I want to replace my stock hood with the sport hood. I’ve been keeping my eye out for a used one online. I also want to replace my chrome bumpers with black, and swap my chrome grille for the new black grille that comes on the 2017 and up ‘limited’s’ I think.

Does anyone have the product number for the all black grille that I’m talking about? It also has the RAM lettering on it. I love the look of it.

I did the steering wheel voice recognition, phone and audio controls this weekend. I really like this mod. Glad I did it.

Did you have to remove the steering wheel to do this?

I am looking for the same sport hood too. I am also looking to get the newer tailgate with the RAM logo accross it, i think they look much cooler.

Yes, I didn't even need a puller. Two good pulls and it was off. The harness swap, new back with audio switches and the V/R, phone and evic button cluster took less than 45 minutes to swap.

That’s the grille I’m looking for. Are the tailgates the same. It’s just the lettering that is different?

Whats the story on the Krown Oil Spray? Easy to put on? Whats the benefit of using this?

ever see hand prints on house siding? lok like ghost prints, form a cetain angle,

oils tend to get into teh metal, old body shop trick to drum up business, was to squirt brake fluid on cars, the fuild would adhere to metal and then the metal must be removed and replaced. Paint over the fliud, the ghost would come back through any paint job.

same principle with krown.

not unlike using oil based paint, on wood. gets into the wood.

by having the oil get into the metal, oil will act as replant to salt and other roadway debris.

No, the tailgates are a bit different. Other then the RAM logo there are differences in the body lines. I think the RAM one is a much better looking tailgate.
