My truck has 5100's maxed on front, plus a 1.5" spacer on the rears. Looking to replace the rear factory shocks, but the Bilstein 24-187374 says for 0-1" lift. Would I be fine running these? Or is there a better alternative?

Anything above 1.5" needs a new rear shock, and the 5100's should work fine due to them being a bit longer extended from the factory. If you go above 1.5" I would go to either a Fox Shock or a set of Procomp extended shocks.

I would go with Fox unless your particular about the parts matching then you can run the 5100 but wont have as much stroke as you'll be pulling them .5" when you install them.

Would I be ok with the factory rears for a while? Any part numbers for what I would need? I'd rather have too much travel than too little.

Did you feel you "needed" your UCA's? I have been questioning getting some myself, but really don't want to. I also have been considering adjustable sway bar end links, bc my bilstein's are set at 2.8 also.

I did it to be safe. Didn't deal with sway bar end links because I removed my sway bar the second day I got it.

You will be fine with stock rear shocks. I ran a 1.5'' rear spacer for a year with stock shocks, never had an issue.

Does it affect anything to take it off? I'd rather have it off that have it at a really jacked up angle. Would I be safer taking it off than leaving it how it is?

Do you have a part number? I don't care about brand, just want to have an appropriate size for my lift.
