I may be wrong but I think 2013 was the year that UCAs started having trouble

So if I put Bilstein 5100's in my 16 Ram 1500 set at 2.1, I am looking forward to popping my ball joints. How soon does this happen?

Ha ha ha ??

Theres a billion post about this Sir ..

This is what you should know ,,in a nutshell

2013 to present the UCA & ball joint did change .

Most 2013 +" Rams " lifted or not have had ZERO issues .

If one uses a SPACER up front for a LIFT or a LEVEL ... They are at more of a RISK of blowing out a UCA ball joint .

IF one uses a High performance lifting shock assy up front for a lift or a level , they are at a CONSIDERABLE ( LESS ) RISK of blowing out a UCA ball joint
, Such as BILSTEINS OR FOX .

The above is what you need to know Sir ; However , you should also understand that UCA ball joints in any year typically DO NOT JUST EXPLODE ,LOL ... The UCA ball joints typically goes out over time .....meaning just keep a look out in the ball joint itself after a lift or leve ....l if you choose to stay OEM ( UCA Wise ) .

If you off-road regularly as I do ...then I'd recommend a stronger UCA ....

There are others , but imo it's a waste of money .

I off-road more than anyone I've ever known ... 4wd is a close friend of mine [emoji16][emoji1303][emoji1303]

I chose the CHEAP ASS MEVOTECH UCAS over 35 thousand miles ago ......still going strong ...

Hope this helps !
