I was given a rear diff. That a buddy of mine got for his 1999 Ram 1500 4x4. It was not needed. He said it was newer than 99. How do I identity the one I have? With out the Vin#?
It has a electronic locker. Abs, w/ drum brakes. 5206.9431. 6007 on left.
GSC7 on Rt. And two tags a rear cover.
9069 on one and 35 on the second. I'm trying to sell the unit, but can't figure out the years. Thanks.

Drum brakes were last used in 2002. So it has to be atleast that old. But factory electronic locker wasn't until I believe 2019 so it may be an aftermarket unit. It may have aftermarket gears in it too then so you will want to verify the ratio.
Posting pics of it may help identifying it.

It's 3.55 on the ratio.

No. I just junked 2 Dakota axles and an F350 axle because it's not everyday people are looking for them and i hot tired of sitting on them.
I had them listed on OfferUp but people have luck with FB Marketplace. I don't do the FB.
