I've got a 2.5" level with 35" trail grapplers. They fit fine and only rub a tiny bit at full lock, otherwise no problems. Not sure about the spacers, you may need those to clear the control arms... can't remember if i have spacers... I don't think so. Anyway, look at my album or find one of my old threads to see how they look.
I disagree. Like I stated above, my 35s fit fine and I'm only 2.5" leveled. He may need spacers but does not need to be higher then 3" to clear those tires.
Hes a 2wd i had a level with 305 55 20s on stock backspaced rims anything bigger and i would have been rubbing. id say save up and get a 6" with your 35s and that would be gold
