I never said they couldn’t get a tire with white letters. I said that the BFs in that size aren’t offered with it.

I looked into it at another tire shop in town. They discovered the same thing. Same thing for the duratacs.

Wanted a little more aggressive tire than I what I saw with some of the others.

Did you look at Mickey Thompson, they have a good looking RWL tire in your size that looks fairly aggressive!

White lettering on your tires looks nice when you're stopped but when those tires are turning it looks like you've got white wall tires!

After looking around, I ended up putting the BF’s on. Black wall.

Ordered a set of BF KO2 for my 2017 1500. Stock size 275/60/20. Wanting white letters out. When the dealership went to install them they realized they were black wall both sides. They looked into it further and apparently that size isn’t offered with white letters. ‍
They then checked about the duratracs, and apparently it’s the same for them also.

What are some of the options out there without breaking the bank?

Goodyear was the only one that had the white letters so I went with those, there are not a high mileage tire but they work good enough.

You Guys who want to clean your raised white letter tires. And i mean really keep them looking new for years . Here is the real McCoy!!!
We in MSRA have used this product for years with GREAT results. You can clean the white along with the black at the same time, and it won' t bleed the Colors together. Really a game changer in cleaning your tires. Also works GREAT on wide white walls.

Oh yes not cheap i pay about $190.00 for a case of twelve bottles. Will last last me a few yrs of course. Also only through a distributor?

It's a matter of preference. I like mine black letters out. My brother in law has BFG KO2's in his Tacoma and i like how they look with the white letters out but he's running a small size, i think 265/70/17

I wouldn't be able to have white letters out as i offroad the truck and the rocks will mess the white out fairly quick.

Use white pen to paint the letters on your tires, you can buy white pens from Amazon.

I've always preferred the white letters out. However, my Nitto Ridge Grapplers didn't have that option so I'm just dealing with the black side walls. But, I'm NOT going to paint the letters with a paint pen. I may look for other options when I replace these though as it makes a difference to me.

Amazon has paint pens for tires. Never used one so I can't vouch for how well it works, but it's a cheap option.

they work well. i used the pen you are talking about 10 years back and it did a nice job. not sure if they would have changed anything about them but 10 yrs ago they worked good. had a nice wide tip and good application.

The last time I had white letters was Goodyear Eagle GTs on a Camaro in 1995.

I can't imagine white letters on anything today unless it's a total hot rod.
