window problems help

Hello I have a 2001 quad cab 4dr, my passenger window rolls down with both window controls but when you try and roll it back up it moves alittle then stops and wont go up anymore. I have force it up with a screw driver when I take the door panel off. I want to know if this is a motor problem.

Sounds kind of like its out of the window frame.

Its not out the frame it just wont go up I think it might be the motor or the actuator.

There electric motors. I would assume if it went down than it'd go up. Its doesn't whine or anything

Sounds like the motor is going out. If it were off track and it was getting caught on the glass itself, it would shatter it if you kept trying to roll it up. Trust me lol

thats what im thinking, I found one from a 98 ram that i think im going to pick up, for cheap and try that.

The motors are stupid easy to swap out on the 2nd gens.
