Well my inspection is up and its time to get new tires unless I get a lick n stick inspection:flipthebird: but I was thinking of getting 318/64/17 nitto trail grapplers. since they are 12.50 will they fit fine? im running stock 1999 dodge 2500 wheels, no lift or level

u sure its not 315/65/17? or did you just do a standard to metric conversion and come up with that? i'd be willing to bet those numbers aren't for tires....anyways, not important. 12.5s are pretty wide for no lift or level. they might work, but i would expect rubbing. what size tires are you running now? also, 315/70/17s are pretty close to 35s, so i would guess a 315/65/17 would be close to 33s. positive they will fit with no lift or level without rubbing? i am sure they will fit, but probable rubbing issue....

I typed 33/12.50/17 into the standard to metric conversion calculator in the sticky for it and thats what it gave me. so what would it be for 33's 12.50 on a stock dodge 2500 wheen and you are saying it wont rub?

I don't think the factory wheels have enough backspacing for a 12.5" wide tire. I know for a fact the stock 1500 wheels don't and that wide of a tire will rub on the UCA's before you hit full lock

The biggest I have seen on stock 16" rims are 265x75x16. They looked like the get pretty close. Remember stock Dodge wheels are set to the outside so the inside is where you have problems. Fords use a much different wheel centering.

The biggest I have seen on stock 16" Dodge wheels are 265x75x16. They were close. Dodge uses a much different offset than Ford. The wheels in my avatar were on my Ford & had a stock Ford offset. Look how they stick out on my Dodge. Those are only 235x85x16 Toyo Tires.
