I have a 2019 3500 Laramie Dually that I am just today making the last payment on. I really like the stout Longhorn grill that has fewer but thicker, heavier chrome slats. What would I be up against if I were to want to do this? The Dealership would likely want an arm and a leg. Here are the two grills, Laramie, and Longhorn, side by side.....

It’s simple pop off the old and on with the new. There’s nothing hard about it

Mind giving a little more details about how that would be done?

this video will help
your bumper does have to come off, there are 3 bolts that are hidden
IF you have to use a metal pry bar, use some tape or a rag to protect your chrome

Thank you. But, this appears to be a job for the Dealership Body Shop to do. By one of the techs that have done them before. I'd save maybe $300 by doing it myself, but from what I am learning here, I think I'd be pretty frustrated trying to do this myself.

2 guys, a 6 pack & some burgers would get it done, as long as you have the space & some power tools.

The real advantage of having a body shop do it, is that if you don't have the right nuts & bolts, they have bins of that kind of hardware.

I used to work on vehicles in my garage all the time, my buddy & his wife would be there, even when i wasn't.
I had gone to ABBA Bolt & bought used hardware bins & several bags of bolts, nuts & washers.

Not everyone can do that, especially when they don't toy with cars for a hobby :)
