I am looking at this lift and the directions. The directions show to remove the lower fan shroud and not re-use. I would think this would cause some cooling issues. Anyone modified the lower shroud to re-use ?

Doesn't sound like much of a cooling issue as opposed to making something prone to damage. Call the manufacturer to clarify

I saw that, I was thinking about getting a fab shop to bend me something up out of sheet aluminum , maybe 1/8" to 3/16" ?

I just put a zone body lift on. I had already removed the lower shroud. As well as the belt driven fan and the stock crank pulley. My temps stayed about the same.

I installed the body lift along with a Zone 6" suspension. No issues with cooling/damage. You're fine.

I also installed the zone 1.5 lift, no difference in cooling for me either
