AAM 11.5 for SRW 2500 and 3500. AAM 11.8 for DRW. Both use the same Chrysler 14 bolt housing.

To be fair, a lot of people dont know that diffs have identifying tags on them or in the glove compartment. No need to try and make him feel stupid.

Hmm. There’s info on them? Guess I gotta look. And what’s in the glove box?

Well. I guess I’ve seen the tag on the rear axle before. But they fall off don’t they? I was thinking something stamped

people should take a moment and read through the owners manual. this will atleast give a basic understanding of the vehicle. theres also other sources if they want more detailed info of the vehicle

Crazy Jerry - take a chill pill. Not everyone is ordained as Holier than thou with elite judgement and forum searching skills like you are. Normal people actually have the audacity to think forums are for sharing information and asking questions - thanks for enlightening us common folks with your wisdom and insight.

Agree 100% no reason folks can't come on here and ask questions. I don't recall seeing any ID tags on my trucks diffs. I learned they were Aam by reading threads HERE . What is the point of an internet chat forum if you can't ask questions, or worry who will or won't think it's a dumb question?

We have a great group of regular posters here who are helpful and friendly and we're going to keep it that way.

It just rolls me how people have keyboard muscles and will say things they'd never say to someone's face, as if they did someone might just pop em one. What do I know....im just a country hick. If you can help someone, post. If you can't move on.

truth is, i know the data is here on another thread.

instead of asking questions first, its best to read and search, and do your research.
