so this would be almost flush without the spacers i assume...

Here’s a pic before the flares and spacers.

And one with flares, but no spacers.

Main reason I added the spacers was to get more clearance between the tire and knuckle.
This was before the 2” spacers (it did have some 1/4” spacers from the previous owner in this pic though)

This is after spacers.

yup BORA is the way to go, Im running 2 inch spacers all the way around with a 4 inch Zone lift and 35x12.5x20 General Grabbers with no problems. Going on 26000 miles. Make sure to put some thread lock on them and youll have no issues

Guys can someone please explain how a spacer can be hub AND wheel centric.

If a spacer is hubcentric and the holes for the factory studs are in the right spot then what more can be "centric".

Forgive me if its a stupid question but i was a machinist for many years im trying to understand what more you would need.

If the studs on the spacers and holes for the factory studs are in the right place and the center hole is hubcentric what else can be "centric".

Basically, the back side of the spacers are hubcentric, and centers off of the ring on the hub.
The front face of the spacer has the same centering ring as the face of the factory hub for centering the wheel.

I assumed that if it is hub centric the whole hole thru that centers in hub in. The inside would be also centered on outside

you're mostly correct. the pacer does center over the hub.
However, the factory wheels are not designed to be centered by the lug nuts (Lugcentric). The wheels need the ring on the hub to center them. The lug nuts only hold the wheel to the hub, they do not center it.

If you look at the links I posted above, the second spacer does not have the wheel centering ring on the outer face, and simply bolting on the wheels could result in the wheel center not aligning with the hub center.

i had bora spacers for a while... they rode well, but i eventually dumped them and got wifer wheels.. just coudnt get the thought of failure out of my mind.. although rare with boras, there is always that possibility

Hey guys been trying to follow this thread. With 2in spacers it requires no modifications right? Straight bolt on?
I put a hdx bumper on my Laramie and hoping the light bar mount and widening the stance will help balance it out

1.5" or larger is usually good to not cut the wheel studs. If using OEM wheels you'll be fine without a trim, with aftermarket is where you may have to trim the wheel studs.

I have 22 hellcat replicas. Guess I may have to trim

With my 1.5" Boras I would have to grind maybe less than a 1/4 inch if used with non factory rims. Pretty much the taper part of the wheel stud. (Decided not to use them)
