I would like to see some sort of warning that I’ve left my opening rear window open when leaving the truck. Know I’m gonna leave it open someday and a monsoon will hit.
THAT would be a great feature! I've left mine open a few times. I have a truck cap and sometimes I don't notice I've left it open because of the cap.

I dont like the coil rear springs, wish it had leaf springs. Also not a fan of the projector headlights.
Hmm, that's actually one of the things I like. What don't you like about the coil springs? I appreciate the fact that it makes the rear suspension "kind-of" independent. Yeah, it can not be true independent with a solid axle but I notice a big difference on rutted roads and the like over any other truck I've owned, which has been a whole bunch of them over the last 30 years.

Towing package does not come with heated mirrors
Yes, this is something I do not like. Although I'm still not 100% that I don't have heated mirrors, I have to go outside and look. But it's too cold to do that now :)

In the 4th gen forum there is a thread "What DON'T you like about your RAM?". I haven't seen one here on the DT forum (maybe there is nothing anyone doesn't like yet???!). So rather than starting a random thread (well, I did, but I expect it can be closed if it's suitable), did I just miss it? If not, maybe this can be the start.

Mind you, it's not like I hate it. Mostly love it. But there are a few so far (after just 3 days of ownership). I won't post even the most minor one unless/until I find there's NOT another thread already going.

Over the years I've had Toyota, GMC, Chevy and Rams. Each had their good and bad. Stayed with Ram for the last 12+ years. The only real complaint I have with gen 4 Ram is the headlights are too dim.

I'm still in the market for buying a RAM. Hopefully soon. But, I've compared the GM trucks, and here's where I'd like to see RAM upgrade their offering.

- A H.U.D. Having info on the road in front of you is just awesome.
- The cameras. Silverado's best camera system just blows everyone away. Especially that rear-view mirror camera thing. RAM 360 cameras are nice, but you just have to see the Silverado to see where RAM didn't quite out do GM in regards to the cameras.

With trucks getting bigger and bigger, that camera thing would be my biggest want. Though RAM seems to do everything else about the two trucks much better. RAM hands down, but not quite perfect.

One needs those fancy GM cameras simply because the Maybelline compact mirrors they put on the trucks are inadequate.

The thing I like least about my RAM is , that FCA dropped the lifetime warranty for the 19 models. Otherwise just petty things that the factory did not pay attention to thatI am fixing myself as to taking it in for warranty repairs but now my back glass has quit sliding so I ain't fixing that one myself.

(assuming they ever had it) It was dropped long before that! My '15 had the exact same 3/36 bumper-to-bumper and 5/60 powertrain warranty.

I hate the cap less fuel filler necks Feels cheap, also i have a love hate on the mds, hate it on city roads and love it on the highway. Yes I know I can disable it. I Also hate when you do a mid muffler delete that the rear resonators sound like an exhaust leak. So I plugged the holes on the rear resonators welded them shut and drilled two small hole on the rear button of them instead.

My only complaint is with the front seats. I wanted the 6 pass seating, and they won't allow lumbar adjusters with the front bench. Mostly comfortable, but the 5 pass seats are almost the same, but with that lumbar adjust that I could not even order.

Only had this beauty about 6 weeks so my concerns are still very minor.... I wish the towing package mirrors were retractable (but at least they are heated). Also, when I remote start and the outside temp is below 40, it automagicly preheats the steering wheel and the drivers seat....since my wife rides to work with me, I wish it would do the passenger seat as well. Like I said...very minor issues. So far I really love this truck!!!RAM.JPG

Is that on a 5th Gen? 4th Gen were terrible, but everything I've heard about the 5th Gen (which are LED) is that they are fantastic. My LED reflectors rate about an 8/10.

I love the projectors. They are significantly better that the LEDs on my 16 Silverado ltz.

I have the camera rearview on my wife's Buick and it's nauseating. It's only good for parking and you get the same view on the console so it's never used. The refresh rate or something about it makes it very difficult to look at. However the view is great, just can't use it.

The things I dislike about my limited are very limited. My main complaint is the lack of Google Assistant on Bluetooth. We have the Siri hand free but the Android version that works fine on gm isn't available. I dislike having to plug in my phone Everytime, would rather just keep it in my pocket unless it's a longer trip. It's a key feature on my silvy that I loved.

I'd also prefer a hi lo setting for the heated steering wheel. It's rediculously hot.

I'd like for the power mirrors to have an auto fold option and the windows to have a key fob down function.

My favorite things are the air suspension with the ability to lower it was down for loading unloading, the ride, the 4wd system with auto 4 (I know a lot will hate that but it's great for us on road only people), the back seat is cavernous. Could go on and on.

My GF has the same request! One of us (guess who) usually just goes out a few minutes early and turns hers on manually so not the biggest deal but would be nice if you could opt for that.

I see that most of the issues that people have are things that we used to not think of as part of a pickup truck.
My 13 regular cab was perfect for me. I could reach behind the seat and grab anything I needed. I was just forced to get a quad cab and it's different, but fine with me. I tend to compare trucks to my 51 Ford and 73 Ford. They had everything I needed, except for the lack of AC on the 51

Hey, I am with you on that - I don't like the "spring loaded" fuel door. I'm not a huge fan of the capless opening either, but I can live with that. But I would prefer to just have a fuel door that swings open and shut without having to do the push thing. It ends up leaving a fingerprint at the push door every time, which is annoying on a fresh waxed truck.

Ditto on the projectors, really good nowdays.

The generation of camera rear view in the Buick was bad, really bad. Low res and bad screen as well as low refresh. The newer version on the Silverado is just simply awesome. Both day and night.
