Got some used orn tail lights from a member on here. Arrived packaged like a pro, look brand new. And they have the black rim, rather than my factory red. Which was a nice touch!

This is the last thing I did with my ol girl. Tranny blew going about 125km on a double lane highway.
Picking her up next week on Tuesday. 545RFE was rebuilt and beefed up as much as it could be.

Can you start a thread on what you did to your trans to bullet proof it? Or PM me? Or pop in to the Synthetic oil thread and let us know what you did?

Also what exactly happened?

Ordered new speakers all the way around. While I’ve got the basic radio I haven’t decided if I’ll upgrade the head unit or not.

Hopefully I can get a new tailgate ordered next week to replace the one I dented thanks to a light pole that jumped out behind me.

I did that with a lease truck about 5 years ago. But i was not looking at the backup camera. [emoji23]. Hit the poll so hard my head whipped back into the seat.

I didn’t even get out of the truck to look at it. Drove home thinking about the bill i was going to pay.

Got home and walked around the truck to find ZERO body damage. None. I hit directly on the ball mount in my hitch[emoji23]. Hit it so hard i bent the tow package.[emoji23][emoji23]. Never fixed it.

Morimoto fogs and swapped the single din to double din in the ST. Added the wiring harness and switch + led bulbs to my SLT to get the fogs functional after the bumper conversion.

Getting ready to do some brakes in the morning. Powerstop Z23 Evolution are going on to replace my EBC sport with Greenstuff pads. The EBC setup generated a ton of dust and were noisy as hell. I’m hoping the Powestop will do the trick.

I got 60K out of the factory brakes, and 59Ish out of the EBC, so I’m hoping to get at least that many miles out of the PS....SoCal freeways are murder on the brakes, all stop and go[emoji19].

I've heard nothing but good things about the Powerstop Z23 kit for our trucks. I find the stock brakes to be lacking. My truck only has 31k miles on it but I'm going to be replacing the brakes on it soon because they make a ton of noise and the initial bite sucks. I haven't had time to do a thorough inspection but I'm guessing the pads or rotors are glazed.

My truck is my daily driver and my commute is 55 miles a day. Its a mix of stop and go surface streets and stop and go freeway traffic so I feel ya on the brakes.

Got a set of 22" polished sport wheels for the Ram over the weekend. Not really growing on me, kinda miss my 20" black sport wheels. What you all think? Might just sell them, taking offers! :)

I think the polished wheels look amazing on the white paint. The black just makes it look like there's something missing.
I say keep the polished wheels on the Ram. Just looks more classy. Nuttin like a Ram with some fine jewelry

No shorts, flip flops or short sleeves this time lol. Yep bend ourselves. Cheap harbor freight bender
Harbor freight pipe bender is what I used to rebuild my old buggy. it works but what a pain having to hammer the dies off the tubes when they get stuck.
Before and after, don't need a fancy bender.. but it does help lol..

I oil the die faces to help it slide like needed.
Afterwards I'll take some brake cleaner to get the excess oil off before I paint it. It just seems to help the pipe and dies to work together better.

Our bends were not great but first time using it. Overall I’m happy till we redesign. Gotta start somewhere. Much more satisfying than than clicking the “buy” button and bolting it up:favorites37:

Got the fronts finished and now heading to a birthday brunch, so I’ll have to finish with the rear later on this week.
