Time has come for me to pick up some new tires for my truck. I am undecided if I want new wheels to go with the new tires or not. So I am wondering what the best site are for each individually, wheels and tires, and what site is best for wheel and tire combo....

What’s the best site for tire prices. I am looking for a 33x11.50x20 MT tire that fits stock suspension.

What’s the best site for wheels? Looking for possibly 17” or 20” wheels.

If I buy new 17” wheels, then I will need new tires. So what’s the best site for wheel + tire combos?

Ordered Wed @ midnight, had them Fri afternoon.
Can't help with wheels since I like my factory chromes.

I've had good luck with tirerack.com. for my truck, I bought wheels and tires from Anthemoffread.com and then drove down to have them installed. there were about 75 mins away from my house.

I get tires and wheels from Americas Tires.
Can't tell you to go for 17's or 20's as that will be your preference. My preference is 17's cause i do offroad the truck so i like the visuals of a 17" wheel and the functionality of 17" tires.

Depends on what you’re buying. If you’re not locked into a particular tire or don’t mind buying third world tires then scan the online stores. Prices change constantly and it’s really competitive so yesterday’s info is out of date.

If you want a major brand then I’ve found local retailers to be competitive. Easy enough to get an online price and then see how they compare.

I buy tires for beaters and trailers online or by price. For my truck I’m very particular about balancing and ride quality so I deal with a shop I can go back to easily. And I’ve always found BFG, Toyo, etc. at local prices comparable to online with shipping and installation included.

My two cents is that Custom Offsets may have good prices on occasion, but they will hose you if you have any issues so I would avoid them. I purchased a set of tires from Jegs and had a good experience, but as a couple folks pointed out to me recently, from now on I will find the best deal online and then take that to my local dealer and try to get him/her to match it. Even if its a few bucks more, you're supporting local businesses and if there are any issues you can deal with it face to face and not have to send an email and wait three days for them to say "sorry, not sorry, your problem is not covered".

My favorite source for wheels is Craigslist or other marketplace sites like that. My 2015 Ram is on 2003 Ram wheels, my 2015 Jeep MK is on 1995 Jeep ZJ wheels...

For tires I shop tirerack.com first because I think the site works really well but I have only bought from them about half the time. I avoid Discount because they decided to involve themselves at their stores in politics that don't have anything to do with tires.. well, whether I agree with those politics or not it's the sort of thing that leaves a bad taste in my mouth so they're free to speak with signage and I'm free to speak with my money.

Thanks. I’ll order mine off the internet, most local places around me are outrageous in price because I live in a somewhat “wealthy” area so to speak, even though it’s not really, but prices where I live are stupid high on everything.

I always get my tires and wheels from Discount Tire. They don't have to sell the wheels to get them. I've had them get 5 different wheels that they don't list, and they got me better prices and less shipping then if I bought them myself. I've had them order 2 different wheels for my Jeep, and 3 different wheels for my Magnum. The nice thing too, is if there is an issue with the wheels, they'll handle it instead of you doing it.

Basically, find the tires and wheels you want, then have Discount order them and install them.

Americastire is my go to their service is unparalleled. 8 cars and dozens of tire and wheel changes and multiple locations. Even if you buy your tires else where is have them mounted there. With an appointment you’ll be in and out in an hour. When I bought my truck I got a flat. Made an appt brought it in and they repaired it for free then offered to insure all 4 for $15 each.

I got mine separately off ebay and took them to a local shop to get mounted. Was $2200 after tax for wheels, tires and new tpms (22s on 35s).
