    Hitch Danger

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Not trying to change anyone's mind here. I've worked at refineries, Gas Plants, etc. and they "require" you to back into the parking spot regardless of size of vehicle. Some of us get used to it and find it easier. Others have to wait while I'm in...

What does everyone name their trucks?

I've always named my Jeeps, this is my first truck. I call him "Elvis" . He's big, flashy, and has the Rebel curled lip.

    Catch can

Thanks to the OP for asking, and all for answering. Always appreciate the knowledge shared. Obvious newbie here. Are these Good for “all” Hemis? Asking for my 2019 5.7 that tows nearly every day. Who makes good ones?

    On Board Air?

Thanks for the info @Malodave - that York 210 does seem like a good solution. Down the rabbit hole of investigation I fell. Looks like ORO makes them for Wranglers. I didn't see any brackets or installs for a 1500. Do you have a photo of your bracket? I can't make one, but can have one made if I...

    Floor Mat Recall

Thanks for the info @mikeru and @Weebear. Mine goes in a week from today for this. Now I know what I don't want them to do...sheesh..that's not a 'fix'. Has anyone actually heard of a problem of the pedal getting stuck? I'm no truck genius and I still haven't manged to get my pedal stuck under...

GY Duratracs vs BFG KO2 for my Rebel... help

I've had DuraTracs and KO2s on my Wranglers in the past. These Jeeps were my DD too (I'm a one-vehicle lady). Been said by others in this thread, but I'll add my experience. I wheeled the heck out of the Wranglers in Moab and Colorado. Lived at 6700 ft elevation in Colorado year round. Have also...

2020 Camping season.....over before it starts?

A HUGE thank you to all of those who are out there helping others - Medical workers, truckers bringing supplies, food and grocery workers, and too many more to list. This sucks for all of us. I am a fulltimer, meaning I live "on the road" in my 16 ft Travel Trailer. I don't have land or a...

Adding 12V Power Receptacle to Bed - Wire Routing Advice Please

Thank you @chrisbh17 . Follow something existing, that makes sense. Any advice on the location of the plug in the bed? Is it easy to remove and replace the tail light and possibly route between the inner/outer bed skins? I kinda want to have a plan before I tear into anything since most...

Adding 12V Power Receptacle to Bed - Wire Routing Advice Please

Does anyone know of a thread where someone has added a 12V (or any type) of receptacle to their truck bed? I have a 2019 Rebel (regular bed, no RamBox) and an 37Quart ARB Fridge/Freezer I need to power. I already have the ARB receptacle add-on and need wire routing advice please. I'll be...

From Jeep Gal to Truck - Towing a TT Across the US

Thank you @Travelin Ram. Mine are ST. I'd like to get the same Duratrac Load Range 'E' I have on the truck. Does your truck read the TST monitors, or is there a separate display?

From Jeep Gal to Truck - Towing a TT Across the US

Thank you @Lil' Rob. I do know how to change a trailer tire (luckily single axle for now) and have a long bar that lets me get the lugs off. Does anyone know of a TPMS for trailers? and does the 2019 Rebel with factory Tow Package sense them when installed? It's so smart otherwise (shows brake...

    First Travel Trailer trip

So much great advice here and I have to agree. Drive S L O W when towing. People will ride your rear, honk, throw you the finger, and cut right infront of you but at the end of the day, they're not the ones who will pay financially if you wreck your setup. I am a newbie too, live fulltime on...

From Jeep Gal to Truck - Towing a TT Across the US

Always best to be safe @rzims. My trailer tires are only rated to 60 mph, so that's my speed when towing it and I keep a close eye on pressure. Someone advised me to touch the trailer b\hubs and tires when I stop to feel if they are 'hot'. Trying to see if my Ram can detect trailer TPMS.

From Jeep Gal to Truck - Towing a TT Across the US

Is that a Cirrus @sam darakjy? I like having options now, that I didn't have before. Truck Camper, 5th wheel....Who knows, I might just go crazy(er)! ;)

From Jeep Gal to Truck - Towing a TT Across the US

Thank you @crash68. That makes sense. Good to learn the easy from you all instead of the potentially expensive 'hard' way by running into something.
