I just deleted mine and reinstalled my Vararam. I have noticed it only gets to 203 and drops to 195 and will stay steady on the fwy and 199. I dropped 1 mpg when put 20’s on and will probably drop another half to one mpg. I didn’t buy a truck for the mpg.
It’s ok. No change to performance or mpg. It’s my opinion it’s just for looks. Living in California my choices are very limited for a CAI so I gave it a try.
Mine are junk with only 37900 miles on them. I’ve had them balanced three times and I have to add air twice a week. They give up 5-7 psi a week. Tires and wheels will be changed soon.
I got one through Moes and it’s awesome. I can’t believe the difference. I guess I’m not playing hard enough because I’m still st the same MPG, it hasn’t dropped yet. I’m on sport +4.
I live in Northern California where it maybe gets 30 degrees in the winter to 100 + in the summer. If I’m understanding all this right 5w30 is too thick for my climate. What if I use 6qts 5w20 and 1 quart 5w30 would that still give my Hemi the benefits it needs.
