    Thanks for the info on the Auto Sock traction device. We very seldom get sufficient snow out here in my neck of the woods to bother with chains but it’s alwas better to be prepared than stranded. It would be just my luck that if we got a tsunami warning, the roads would be icy. >_<

    Nope. If I had that much money to burn on a vehicle, I’d buy a fully restored 1950’s Power Wagon or possibly one of the International Harvester or Willys trucks/wagons. Sadly, it’s been a couple of decades since I was physically capable of crawling under and around a vehicle to work on it. :-/

    You might try contacting your state Attorney General’s office and ask who you can report the dealership to and see if there are charges that can be filed. And don’t forget to leave a detailed review of the dealer on Google and Yelp, sometimes the best that can be done in a situation like this...
