Will a 545rfe from a 08 ram 4x4 bolt onto a 545rfe 03 2wd Ram minus transfer case of course with no issues thanks- Corner4

Thanks for the replies, yes I did replace that small o ring have to admit it was a little difficult to remove and install new one will drop pan again and double check also there was no metal on pan or on magnet only small amount of grey sludge , nothing serious at all, just concerned with that...- Corner4

Discouraged! truck ran fine, replace trans. line , 03 1500 2wd 4.7 545rfe for small pinhole leak,fluid only down about a pint, drop pan, change both filters, fill back up with ATF+4 , normal running fluid temp, level ground, so im in the driveway, no matter what gear im in PRND21 goes forward...- Corner4

Drove 7kms ,ran fine as it should trouble and smooth free when home noticed what I thought was steam ,checked immediately and found issue,that's when I checked transmission fluid and it was down about a quart, so like said replaced line and fluid top up yes it was then more than a qt after was...- Corner4

Trans guiz
So developed a pin hole in trans line, replaced line and topped off fluid, now trans has no idea what gear it's in and no reverse, any ideas here, thanks- Corner4
