Mine looks like the top picture on the left. Yes, I replaced the cluster. I'll have to pull it out again to check but I suspect I need the bottom right one. Any idea what year that is from?
OK. Let me try this again. I bought a new SPEEDOMETER. My stock original cable doesn't plug into it. The original uses a spring clip to hold it. The replacement SPEEDOMETER doesn't have that clip. Other than that it looks just like my old speedo. When did they change the speedo/cable setup? Is...
'85 D150. The speedo was dead. Bouncing all over and going nuts. Cable looked fine so I got a new (used) speedo from eBay. It was supposed to be the same year but where mine had a spring clip to hold the cable into the gauge, this doesn't. Do I need a new cable, and if so what year would it be...
Thanks but the switch is there, I just can't find a pair of wires that look like they would fit. Any idea what color the wires are? My manual has the worst wiring diagram I've ever seen.
The turn and hazards work. No brake lights. I though it might be the switch but when I looked there are no wires connected to it and I don’t see anything that looks like it would fit. Can anyone post a picture or description of the wires and plugs?
thanks

Ok. The spring pulls against the dashpot that isn’t working anyway. There are some springs, one inside the other that look like they are in the wrong place. I’m thinking they should go where you illustrated.
I’ve only had this a few days and never had a slant 6. Looking over the engine I found a few open vacuum lines and I think a missing spring. Also there’s a cut wire. Until my shop manual shows up I’ll ask you guys.
