Do you speak from actual firsthand experience? I think with BEV pickups the verdict is still out especially for those who tow a lot and over longer distances. The F150 and Rivian clearly show that towing performance leaves a lot to be desired and is not practical really. I've owned my 2018...
I've got screen delamination on my 2018 RAM 1500 UConnect 8.4 and it's starting to have ghosting issues now. What's the easiest way to contact @RamCares these days? Are they still on this forum? If so, hopefully they will reach out to me for this issue. I'm obviously outside of the std...
He's running a 5th gen - likely an improvement to the 5th gen Carplay implementation that's not been adapted for the 4th gen uConnect systems, best guess.
Can’t say that I have - I’ve just gotten used to using the dashboard mode in CarPlay that displays data from multiple apps at the same time. That way I can see Maps data while also being able to view song data.

Great advice on the video - easy to do with smartphones these days.
With regard to your rambox issue - are you saying the rambox literally opens - versus just unlocking? Sounds like the mechanism needs to be replaced.

I’ve never seen the key fob not detected alert. I likely would have tried to pull the fuses associated with the controlling systems and/or tried a battery disconnect before calling for a tow. Not sure if that would have helped though. If there are no codes indicating an issue - I’m going to...
What he said. [emoji3]
This is especially the case for SUVs and pickups right now. I tried my damnedest to find a good lease deal on a new 2021 limited over the past few months but the lease rebates just aren’t there to bring the payments down to something I would consider reasonable...
Since residuals are a percentage value they aren’t getting any better or worse per se. The larger numbers involved for gross and adjusted cap costs coupled with the same residual values and lower lease rebates just mean much higher payments right now. At least the money factors are still...
The lease incentives aren’t what they were a few years ago. Three years back when I leased my current 2018 RAM 1500 Tungsten edition with every listed option - it was 64,500 MSRP. The discount price was around 55k using EP. Then add lease incentives brought it down to around 47k, residual...
One other thought - 10k miles per year - is that enough for you? Most of the RAM leases charge 25 cents per mile for overages - so if you currently drive more than that, you will want to up the mileage allowance on the lease agreement. It’s always cheaper to pay for the mileage as part of the...
Google is your friend LOL. Those calculations are right off one of the initial search hits when searching for lease money factor calculator or some tog similar. [emoji3]
But yes everything listed should be clearly laid out in the proposed lease agreement. We can try to make certain...
Would need more data points to run the numbers:
Gross cap cost
Adjusted cap cost
Fees
Rebates
Money factor
Sales tax
1. Sticker price (MSRP) of the car
$48,505
2. Times the residual value percentage
x 0.44? (we really need the actual residual percentage value here)
3. Equals the residual...
IIRC once you are within 90 days of an FCA lease expiration you can call and schedule a lease inspection. This inspection is specifically designed to point out any items that may need attention prior to actual lease expiration - so if there are any question marks with respect to lease...
The only current option available if you want both the 6.4 bed and ramboxes - is to move up to the 2500 line which offers both.
