Sorry, hadn’t checked this lately. I was getting the low beam out error and the lights cutting out after driving 10-20 minutes when the PWM hit, reprogramming it to HID lights with alfaobd solved it without using resistors
If you have a Canadian version Ram with DRL enabled already, I don't think you are going to use the fuse tap at all based on the directions. It looks like you just connect the two blue wires on the harness together to complete the circuit
I have a 2015 and I disconnected the resistor packs for the Xb fogs and changed the setting to LED, so far they’ve worked flawlessly that way and my truck is picky as hell with bulb out errors
So this time I got the real resistors for 2015 rams delivered. I’ve already reprogrammed the truck with alfaobd, so I probably won’t install them but figured people may want to see them. Looks like the HID kit ones but a single resistor per side
I found an old android tablet so I’m just going to go that route and program the truck. Do I just need to set the LED low beams, LED high beams and Drl to yes?
Interesting, they were just installed for the first time yesterday, but they told me to wait until I got the resistors before doing so and that’s what came...apparently they sent the wrong thing in that case
Well I gave it a shot with the resistor harness they sent for the 2015’s but first day of driving with them I’m still losing my low beams after 15 minutes or so... I guess that doesn’t work and I’ll have to go the alfaobd route
Nothing really on it except the PIN numbers on the connectors. It was made specifically for the 15’s so I don’t know if they’ll sell it separate or not
So I got my order but I have a 2015, is it worth even attempting to install them without the resistors or is that going to be a waste of time? I dont plan on changing the truck settings to LED with the reader
