    Is it safe to use this oil?

    I run Pennzoil full synthetic in my Hemi, and the only Pennzoil 5W-20 full synthetic the store had says "redesigned for modern turbocharged engines." I'm sure it's not a big deal, but will whatever new additives this oil has hurt my non-turbocharged engine?

    5W20 vs. 5W30

    I’ve seen a lot of people on this forum say they run 5W30 in their Hemi instead of the recommended 5W20. What’s the rationale behind this? In my opinion it doesn’t make sense to deviate from what engineers recommend. Maybe I’m just missing something?

    My truck has dual exhaust tips, so maybe that makes the sound worse. The exhaust is stock, but it would still make sense that dual tips amplify the sound of MDS going on/off. Maybe the guys that don’t seem to notice it only have the single exhaust pipe?

    Get to around 30mph from a stop and hold that speed. Wait for the exhaust to quiet down, and you should hear (if your truck is anything like mine) a noticeable change in pitch of the exhaust and maybe even some vibration.

    87 VS 88 VS 89 OCTANE

    I think 89 is the better choice if towing/hauling heavy. But for everything else, I don’t see a reason to run it. The price difference between the two would add up quickly, and I personally couldn’t justify it if it wasn’t necessary.
