    Thanks! Do you know if removing the intermediate shaft will cause fluid to leak out, or is there some kind of internal seal?

    Has anyone tried replacing CV axles and as you hammer it out, it seems like the intermediate shaft is coming with it? Is that normal/common? My fear is if I keep going, I end up pulling shaft out and out pours all my fluid and would need new seal from somewhere. Anyone have tips for removal...
