I picked up a new Elantra in 2013 and kept smelling coolant. Turns out the factory uses windshield washer fluid that contains glycol.
Also had a Tacoma that I installed an oil catch can. Bought hoses from local auto parts store. Must have been of chinese origin. Man they stunk when motor came...
I have a supply of XG2’s with production date of 2020 that dont say “durable metal screen” on box, looking inside there is clearly a metal screen backing the filter media.
If you have a soft tonneau cover on bed some models will vibrate at highway speeds and rattle the rear of truck. If you have a cover open it fully and see if vibration is still present. Long shot but possible.
Had done the same mod on a 2009 Tacoma. Simple cut and wire in a switch to deactivate ABS/VSC. Worked great. Anyone have any ideas what wire in a Ram would do the same thing?
Found this posting in NYC Craigslist if anyone is interested. Can’t believe it was abandoned! WTF!

Thats the info I needed to know. Thought it looked like clear over polished aluminum. But had also heard that they were powder coated chrome, what ever that may have been.
