Kenda Klever RT’s! They are pinned for studs like dura tracs but have a way deeper tread and better sidewalls. They also are cheaper. I live in the PNW and these tires have seen it all on my Ram Minotaur. I also ran these on my built 2003 Toyota Tacoma TRD.
I changed all mine out to Infinity Reference 9633’s in all 4 doors and Infinity Rererence 3.5” dash speakers. Improved highs and mids greatly. Order from Crutchfield and you get the plug and play adapters included.
These are 20” wheels with 35x12.5xR20 Kenda Klever RT’s. Don’t think these are “bro” wheels. Thought about putting 37s but want to keep my 14” of suspension travel without modifying anything.
Kenda Klever R/Ts. Been great in all the snow and ice we have been getting here lately in Oregon. They are pinned for studs which you can put them in when season starts then take them out when it’s over. Blocks and siping run all they way down.
I have been up in the snowy Cascade foothills, over the passes, Mt. Hood and snowy roads around Bend and Sisters. Never had an issue yet. I deflate them down around 15-20 psi and have great traction. Of course driving within the capability of your rig goes a long way. Lol
Actually, Kenda could put the 3PMSF on these tires but they didn’t because one small size tire didn’t perform as well as they wanted. All the other sizes performed way beyond the requirements. Other tire manufacturers put it on even if one or more of the sizes they offer don’t quite make it...
I have run these all year and they do great! I had General Grabber red letter baja tires on it it before and they were much noisier and could feel the lugs on those tires at very low speeds like when parking. The Kendas are really quiet and smooth riding. No feeling on the steering wheel. They...
I’m sold on Kenda Klever RTs. I just put on a new set of 35x12.5 R20 F and only cost $1,100 for the set of 4. These do great all year around and are very quiet despite the aggressive looking tread. The tread is also one of the deepest you can get. Also they are already pinned for studs if you...
My truck came from the factory with 35x12.5-R20 General Grabbers. Just replaced them with same size Kenda Klever RTs. Runs so much smoother and quieter plus can’t complain about the 19/32 tread depth and that they are pre pinned for studs. I thought about getting 37’s but stayed with the 35’s so...
My truck came from the factory with an S&B CAI installed as well as a high flow MF exhaust so I have no other experience with any other setup. What I can say is that it seems to have better power compared to stock setup my buddy has in his same year, same gearing, same motor. He is running stock...
Another option is to look for a decent low mile Ram Minotaur! Looks like a TRX and IMHO is stronger built suspension and you can find them with a supercharged motor for around $50k. The one I found was even cheaper and only had 19k miles on it. I have even TRX owners asking me about my rig. Lol
