I bought this 2" drop spindle and installed it on my truck but im still wondering what the hole below the one that holds the top ball joint is for, anyone knows? -

I found out that the brand "canubus" works the best for our trucks, I have an 05 ram and thats what I run on mine with no problem, I think thats how you spell the brand- Navarabr

lower ball joints not coming out of knuckle
I don't know if you fixed this yet or not but... You might as well buy the whole too control arm with the ball joint pressed in already, just a few bucks more and it will save you time. To remove the bottom ball joint you can you the clamp to press the head of it down, you will need a socket... -
