You freeze it while in the sack so nothing sticks to it while in the fridge. Also prevents ice build up. I have several bags of stones in the freezer for the same purpose.
I had a friend that routinely had problems with the clad spinning around the lug nut preventing him from removing the tire. He said between air tools and corrosion, they are very prone to this. I will be looking to replace mine with solid one piece lug nuts.
In general any Michelin I've put on any of our vehicles over the years have lasted much longer than Firestone or any stock tire. I will be looking into the Michelin tires mentioned above once my stick tires wear.
When putting the driver's side power window down on 15 1500 CC, it seems the window skips or vibrates at about half way to two thirds down. It happens every time. The window goes down fully and comes back up but I'm wondering if there is a track issue or programming issue. I did a search but...
There was another thread about this. I have the same experience. It's as if air is still passing over the heater core which warms with engine temp. The "cold" air coming in is no where near ambient temp once the truck is warm.
