The buttons seem to be worn down to the point that they don’t work reliably inside the shell…but work pretty consistently when the chip is outside the shell.
My theory is that the shell buttons are not making proper contact with the chip buttons ?
No I have tried new shells. I feel like it’s the little rubber buttons on the circuit board that are worn out. If I take the circuit board out of the shell, I can mostly get the little rubber nipples to work when pressed.
I have these three lights as well. Haven’t had it to the shop yet, but oil change is coming up soon. I’m scared what they will try to sell me to fix the problem.
I just hate that the cruise control won’t work now.
Houdlm, what ever happened with your truck ? I’m having the same exact issues right now with my 2014 Longhorn with 95k miles. I’ve actually got a thread about it I’ll try to attach.

Cross your fingers, boys. Went for about a 40 mile drive in the country yesterday and the lights went out during the trip. Haven’t been back on yet.
(But might be on when I go out there this morning…who knows)
