    Called uConnect customer support and they said that it has to be factory installed for it to show up in the mobile app. Guess I'll just have to live with the keyfob. Kinda bummed but it is what it is.

    Yeah, I know they had issues before but think they've resolved it. They say they have lifetime warranty so worst case they'd have to send a new one if it breaks.

    Just an update, I changed out my Magnaflow 24" to a Dynomax VT yesterday and all the drone is gone. It doesn't sound as beefy anymore but the non-drone more than makes up for it.

    That's what the owner of the shop said the trombone wave tuner would do. He explained it to me as it creating sound waves that counteract the sound generated by the exhaust. Maybe his design was off but the end result is that it didn't work in my case.
