Not Toyo's, but I have about 1000 miles on some 285/75/17's Nitto Trail Grapplers. I had 35" TG's on my old F150 and always like them. They seem to be working well on my PW.
I'm at around 1600 miles since getting mine a couple of months ago. I really only haul lumber so the payload thing isn't an issue for me. I wanted the off-road capabilities. I'm really enjoying it so far. I put Amp power steps on which made my wife happy.
Guess I'll just keep stepping on the tire like I've always done. I installed Amp power steps which are great. The should make a bed step that comes down when you drop the tailgate. Looks like they could come up with a better position when it's down and get it to be hidden when it's up. Thought...
I thought about putting 35x 12.5's on my new 2020 PW, but ended up going with 285/75R17 Trail Grapplers. Pretty much an inch taller than stock size. I personally like the look. I see a lot of trucks in my area with big 35"+ tires that stick out past the fenders. They kinda look like giant...
Don't care for the grill. The wheels are meh. The off-road pages may be cool, but I've lived my whole life with out them. I would just get a normal PW.
I'm going to give them **** Monday. Not happy.
I'm going to pull the other 3 tomorrow. If they are all like that would I be wrong to want them replaced? I mean the truck cost me $63k and I have 1k miles on it.
Hey folks. A week ago I had 285/75R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers installed on my stock PW at my local Dodge dealer. They told me when I picked up the truck I might hear some clicking coming from the wheels and it's from the stickers they put on the tires from the factory. I thought that was weird...
The truck came with 285/70R17 which are roughly 33 inches. I put 285/75R17 on which are roughly 34 inches. I wanted a tire that was a little better in the mud so I got Trail Grapplers and went up a size. I'll probably go back to a AT after I'm done building my house.
Thanks for your reply. I will be getting a 3rd party tool after I do my research. I had my truck out on the highway yesterday. My speedo was saying 70 and my phone GPS was saying 72. Not a big deal. The mileage is my bigger concern over time.
