Sooooo, bought my new 2500 Tradesman CC Hemi. Got the glorious Ram connect for 3 months free. Now they want I think $15 per month so I can unlock my truck. Or lock it. I payed $61k for this thing. Don’t get me wrong I love the truck. I’m not paying one cent for something that should be free...
I purchased a new camper last fall, Heartland Sundance 326BH with 7500lb dry weight and pulled it on two trips. Tongue weight 1100 with Huskie 4 point weight dist hitch and it towed quite nicely, even in 30mph crosswind!! Just keep it below 65mph and fine.
I keep trying to upload a jpg of the...
I’ve had my 21 classic w 5.7 just a year now and always use 87. I get slight hesitation from stop when cold but that’s it (goes away when warm). When I tried 89, hesitation went away. No ping and no issues when pulling a 6500 lb camper.
This is an old thread but I have to rant. $12/month to unlock doors with my phone? lol. Used it 3 times. Stood there for a half hour waiting. My 21 classic does not have remote start which is fine by me. Sirius and guardian can go **** themselves.
So what’s next for the a la carte? Doors! If...
They lost the sale with their choice of business methods. None of their business where you took your business. Give them the address of a Toyota dealership. It pays to shop around.
Make sure your vin number is not tied to this thread. Just sayin. I used to hit these forums when I was a supplier to Chrysler when wet got Warranty hits. Easy search to then deny payment to Chrysler It wouldn’t come back on you though I don’t think.
I would not accept a used or reman diff. Jolly lube f’d it up. They need to make you whole. I would also be dubious of rebuilding yours. The housing was likely damaged. Demand a new axle assembly. Period.
1. Remove the cap and throw it in the trash. You didn't want it anyway. Ram guys are tough, no-nonsense. Don't be a pu$$y.
2. Place some calibrated, fault code covering, black electrical tape on the appropriate spot on the cluster.
3. Drive as usual...
You need to determine where the noise is coming from first and foremost. Is it a 4x4? If so, the tcase will telegraph noise into the cab from axles, driveshafts and transmission, so it can really be from one of many locations. Try to understand if the ticking noise is happening at a frequency...
Congrats and welcome!! I just bought my 21 back in April. Traded a Tacoma. This Ram is the best vehicle I've ever owned. Period. Any issue or questions just ask!! Picture pictures pictures!!! ;-)
Kurek is right. You would need to swap out your whole axle to one that has no internal disconnect to be able to use lockouts. I'm a jeep cj guy from way back so i know those lockout hubs well. I have also never seen a wheel hub last very long as they are very susceptible to water, slurry and...
I have to rant. Is there a reason why FCA can't condense the nonsense and have just one app? They split the functionality between the two such that when I want to look something up in one, it's in the other and vise versa. Just, stop!! For heaven's sakes!!
