Did a boo boo last week and forgot to return my truck to stock and took it to the dealer and they cleared the computer (long ugly story lol) anyways, tuner was locked after that. Called Superchips and they unlocked it for free. :)

Mine is out of warranty......anything happens now it's on me......

Installed Airaid Modular Intake Tube. Easy install. Tight fit though lol. It will be easier to take off and reinstall after it wears in a bit. First ride felt throttle response increase at least a little for sure. Sounds better at WOT, a little more aggressive. Have about a third of a gas tank left. I'll have a little fun with it for now, but next tank I'll see if I get any mpg increase.

Pcv valve, egr valve and sway bar bushings and end links in the mail, should be here Friday.

Removed the nerf bars and put on 2 sets of stirrup steps. I don't think I am crazy about them so I might just go with nothing. Going to wait a couple days and see if I change my mind.
Dropped it off to be detailed inside and out. This is the full treatment. Wash, clay bar, buff wax, etc... Restore the headlight lenses, shampoo the interior and whatever else they do. Should look new! I hope....

Before and after. Painting sway bar brackets, so waiting for that reinstall. Pcv valve made a huge difference.

Where is the pcv valve on an 06' 5.7L Hemi?

On top of the intake behind and to the left of the throttle body. It goes into a boss molded into the intake. All you can see is the end of it. You have to turn it to unlock it to pull it out.

Kind of an odd angle, but use some needle nose pliers to twist it counter clockwise. I putt a microfiber towel on my finger and wiped the hole out a bit too before I put the new one in. Make sure you lube the O rings. I pulled my dipstick out and took a bit of that oil just to get them a little wet before install.

Well every truck is different, but it made mine run way more smooth. Idle is like a kitten now, and accelerating seems like it takes less effort. May just be me, but I felt like it really helped.

Added more leds. 2 spot pods and a 13" light bar behind the nfab in the skid plate. Still have 4 flood pods to put on for fog lights.

How's the bumper affect mpg? Seems that would weigh less than the stock one. And with different aero dynamics now, just curious what it did. I was looking into something similar on my truck.

Yeah it weighs about half what my stock bumper and bull bar weighed. I haven't really noticed too much of a difference in mpg, but I don't drive the truck for good gas mileage. Lol the wind doesn't seem to affect it at all.

Did a quick alignment, got my lower control arm cam bolts freed up from the bushings. Will do a more comprehensive adjustment when I change out the front struts.

Threw in some old Pioneer TS-D6902R 6x9's in the front doors that I had from an older car. Just bought the truck a couple days ago, and I have many, many plans:
On the way:
Champion 570s
Hood Struts
Windshield wipers.. minimal I know, haha.
Air filter

Then.. the Audio/Video build (which is on the way also)

Beyond that, a DIY bed liner is on the way, potentially an undercoating as well, plastidiping the rims, Dual battery install (if necessary due to the audio/vision system), Tailgate strut, Tonnoue cover.. maybe more as it comes along.

Gonna be a fun few months! :signs1:

With all the construction around town, almost every major road has become a country gravel road and man does it ever kick up allot of dust. Cleaning the truck again for the third time in a week.

Bed lined the bumper today. The toolbox is next.
