hello I’m about to lift my truck with rough country 6 inch lift but I was wondering if I need to the struts right away or can it wait a few months?

yes, you should change the shocks (factory shock are $h1t anyway) plus why not when everything is torn apart

Your kit should come with everything you need to get you rolling, and then upgrade as you go.

6 in rough country kit comes with spacers for the struts . Or you can add the struts to the kit for like 300 extra but to be honest doesn’t make a big difference . I waited about 6 months to add new struts to my lift

The rough country struts didnt help the ride? I am in the same boat right now... wanting to improve the ride up front. I currently hve the rough country 6 in lift with factory struts

To be honest I can’t tell a difference in the ride. I thought it would be a night and day difference but it’s not in my case

You can wait. Its not going to hurt anything running the factory struts
